	MONDAY WORKSHOPS These are held at Longford Village Hall, Longford lane Gloucester From 9.30am - 3.30pm January 26th Fabric Postcards We will be making fabric postcards for the S.W. Region competition February 23rd A follow up to the Fay Maxwell workshop. We will be sharing stitch information, wool and hopefully dyed blankets For those not on the workshop come anyway and bring your own work March 30th Making background fabric from scraps to make a card holder

	In October a group of us visited The Embroiderers Guild at Hampton Court. What a wonderful day we had. We were made so welcome by the ladies who work there and were shown some of the treasures in store there. One of these is a Challis Cover bought in 1985 with money donated by The Cotswold Branch. I would just like to say , if you have any doubt about why we need a new building just go and see for yourself how these ladies work and how the treasures are stored. I am sure like us you will be very surprised and understand far better why we must help.

	CHRISTMAS SOCIAL DECEMBER 13th AT THE REDDINGS COMMUNITY HALL 1.30 - 4.30 Demonstration of Christmas Flower Arrangements Four of our members will be showing samples and talking about their work in 2008 Christmas Bran Tub and Win a free workshop in 2009 Also receive your programme for 2009 and book your place on the January workshop We hope to have photos of the finished pieces from both workshops in December. It is intended that this work will be exhibited at the Christmas Social
