1st and
2nd October 2005 WEEKEND WORKSHOP AT WALLSWORTH HALL
We
created beautiful coloured and textured surfaces inspired by nature or manmade
artefacts. A simple grid on soluble fabric forms the base for hand stitching.
This picture by Helen Crawford has been chosen from the exhibition to
make into Thank You cards representing the Cotswold Branch over the next
three years.
The following pictures are of visitors enjoying the exhibition.
Right: Young visitors fascinated by the jelly fish.
Some of the stewards who have kindly given so much of their time to
make the exhibition so successful: Janet Stott and Barbara Mears. Margaret
Richards having a welcome break.
A very big thank you to all those involved in planning, making and
exhibiting, before and during the exhibition, especially the Cotswold
Branch Committee and Simon Trapnell and his staff at Nature In Art. I am
sure members will agree we have had a very enjoyable and successful 2005
40th Anniversary Birthday Celebration.
