The
Cotswold Branch was the founding Embroiderers’ Guild Branch in
this part of the country, taking members from as far away as
Worcester, Hereford, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Malvern, Stow, Stroud,
Cirencester and Gloucester. Today most of these areas have their
own branches.
|
We
are affiliated to the Embroiderers’
Guild whose headquarters are in London.
There
are branches throughout the country, split into areas and we
belong to the Southwest Region. Our area representative is Diana
Hammond.
|
Our
aims are to encourage learning and sharing enjoyment of textiles
with like-minded people of all ages.
|
The
Cotswold Branch warmly welcomes anyone interested in stitching and
the related arts.
If
you are interested in joining us, please contact
the chairman Ann
Hampton.
