FABULOUS BEASTS, BIRDS AND BUTTERFLIES  with Chris Laird

Fabulous creatures were machine stitched onto layers of coloured sheers, burnt and beaded to make exotic  hangings to mount and frame.

Members were inspired by Chris Laird's work:

Everyone enjoyed the day and we hope that Chris will give another workshop next year.

She will, of course, be with us at our Christmas Social Afternoon on Saturday 19th December, giving an interactive talk on "Stars and Stories" - we can make stars while Chris talks [ kits will be available on the day].
