(This Workshop was extra to our main programme)
Klimt's
work revealed a range of patterns. Angie had prepared a demonstration
piece (below left) and a finished piece of work using a variety of
techniques (below right)
After selecting a design
and transferring it to a piece of velvet background, the group layered
on foils, organzas and silks, then embellished with machine stitches:
This was a very enjoyable
workshop and members took home a stunning piece for framing.
